ABOUT  THIS  PORTFOLIO  COLLECTION:

These are photographs  taken in the late 1970's of

25th Division troops from Schofield Barracks

Training at Pohakuloa Training Area

on the Big Island of Hawaii -- by Photo-Journalist John Bond.

These are only a very small number of over 3000

images I photographed with a professional  Nikon 35MM

camera and these photos were scanned from B&W darkroom prints

I made in an "old style" chemical based photo darkroom.

I also have many more in color, including much more Air Cav "choppers"

and armored tanks and other vehicles of that  "70's era".
