ASSIGNMENT: Create a NEW nostalgic high resolution poster from just a newspaper clipping, using various other old photo elements. The result on the right was made by digitally clipping out elements, cloning in a new pineapple base and overlaying the final composition. Final version reproduced At 22 x36 inches on archival art paper stock. |

By the way, Lei Becker Furtado was the "Libby Pineapple Girl" doing LIVE TV commercials every week on the then wildly popular "Your Show of Shows" a 90 minute NBC variety program starring Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca broadcast LIVE in the 1950's. |
