ABOUT  THIS  PORTFOLIO  COLLECTION:

I have lived on Oahu  most of my life and have always found

the old style plantation homes really interesting as photographic  subjects.

After living in various plantation style homes in the Hamakua

and Kohala districts of the Big Island for seven years, I became

very interested in photo-documenting this style of Hawaii architecture.

A few years ago I began photographing more plantation style houses

in Waipahu and Ewa Village and took those photos, plus re-colorizing

my older Black and white photos, and used Photoshop to

create an artistic, painterly series of Plantation Home artwork.
